Customs Executive / Officer

Responsibilities
-Lead Malaysia import and export tariff classification (HS Code determination), regulatory compliance review, and market access risk assessment; ensure adherence to customs regulations and product certification requirements.
-Manage end-to-end customs clearance processes, proactively resolve clearance exceptions, liaise with customs brokers and authorities, and continuously improve clearance efficiency while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
-Monitor updates to customs regulations, tariff structures, and trade policies; conduct compliance risk assessments and provide timely advisory support to internal and external stakeholders, including accurate updates on HS codes and applicable duty rates.
-Oversee customs documentation control, duty and tax declaration processing, customs inspection follow-up, and maintenance of compliance records to ensure audit readiness.
-Supervise warehouse operations related to inbound and outbound shipments, inventory reconciliation, and stock registration to ensure accurate trade and logistics records.
-Responsible for office admin work.

Requirement
-3+ years of relevant customs or trade compliance experience; background in manufacturing or international trade companies preferred.
-Solid knowledge of China customs regulations, import/export procedures, and related systems (e.g., Single Window, manifest systems).
-Proficiency in import/export declaration, HS Code classification, customs valuation, and supervisory requirements.
-Familiarity with customs audits, tax rebates, exemptions, and bonded trade preferred.
-Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure and a high sense of responsibility.
