Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy
-Lead the delivery of the school’s HR priorities in line with Nord Anglia’s people strategy
-Work closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team to support school development and organisational planning
-Contribute to a positive and professional working environment across the school

Recruitment and Talent
-Oversee recruitment of academic and support staff, both locally and internationally
-Ensure recruitment processes reflect best practice and safeguarding standards
-Support effective onboarding and integration of new staff

Employee Relations and Support
-Provide clear, balanced advice on employee relations matters
-Support leaders in managing performance, attendance and conduct
-Promote staff wellbeing and engagement across the school

Performance and Development
-Support the implementation of performance management processes
-Contribute to leadership development and succession planning
-Encourage a culture of continuous professional development

Compensation and Benefits
-Manage salary and benefits processes in line with local market practice and Nord Anglia guidelines
-Support the administration of expatriate packages where applicable

Compliance and Safeguarding
-Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation
-Maintain high standards of safeguarding and safer recruitment
-Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR records

HR Operations
-Oversee the day-to-day running of the HR function
-Ensure efficient and effective HR processes and systems
-Work with regional HR teams on reporting and initiatives

About You
We are looking for someone who:
-Has significant HR leadership experience, ideally in an international or education setting
-Is confident working with senior leaders and able to build strong relationships across the school
-Has a sound understanding of Malaysian employment law
-Is practical, organised and able to balance competing priorities
-Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and good judgement
