Software Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and manage multiple development teams, ensuring high performance and quality delivery.

· Oversee project planning, estimation, and execution to meet timelines, budgets, and objectives.

· Collaborate closely with Consultant, Quality Assurance, Dev Ops, and Project Management teams to ensure seamless software delivery.

· Drive process improvement initiatives, automation, and adoption of new technologies.

· Mentor and develop technical leads, engineers, and assistant managers to enhance capability and career growth.

· Evaluate and improve system scalability, performance, and security.

· Manage resource allocation, recruitment, and competency development within the software team.

· Conduct regular technical and performance reviews of teams and individuals.

· Prepare progress reports, documentation, and management updates.





Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

· Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.

· Strong expertise in software development lifecycle and technology used. C#, ASP.NET Core / MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server is an added advantage.

· Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile / Scrum methodologies is an added advantage.

· Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

· Experience in designing large-scale enterprise systems is an advantage.
