Job Description:
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

REPORT TO: Asst. Manager (Supply Chain Management) / Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities

Facilities Management

1. To assist in keeping the smooth flow of all electrical system
2. To trouble shoot, repair and do additional wiring if required and have close communications with all HODs.

3. Report to Asst.Manager/COO of the following are in good condition:-
• Water pumps/Water tanks/Water Filters
• Air Handling Unit (AHU)
• Lift
• Medical Gas and Liquid Oxygen Tank
• Monitoring of pest control
• Astro maintenance
• Fire extinguisher renewal
• Emergency Light and Exit Signboard
4. Report to Asst.Manager/COO for any defect on the building facilities
5. To report to Asst.Manager/COO immediately if there is a major breakdown

Medical Devices Management

1. To repair or trouble shoot medical equipment and report to Assistant Manager/COO on the status of equipment
2. To arrange Preventive Maintenance Services and updating Job sheet accordingly
3. To take charge for spare part quotation and servicing

Occupational Safety and Health Compliance

1. Regular inspection to ensure compliance to ESH Policy
2. Working with ESH team to identify potential hazards and assess risks within the workplace
3. Assist in implement policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements

Other Roles

1. To assist the various department in various activities such as Store Management, Data Entry, Inventory Cycle Checking, Stock Take or etc.
2. To be on call after office hours when necessary according to schedule
3. Performs other duties as may be directed by The Management
4. As far as possible, if there is no appointment or engagement on Friday lunch time, you can have your prayer time but if we have such appointments, we are to have first priority.
5. Do not smoke while on duty. The hospital is a non-smoking zone.

Preferred qualifications
• Deep knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Comprehensive command of maintenance procedures and techniques
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Carpentry skills to address any facility structural issues
• Proficiency with electrical wiring
• Proficient with plumbing to fix potential drainage problems
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• A pro-active individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and technical specifications
