QA/QC Engineer (Manufacturing / Construction – Acoustic Panels)

Key responsibilities
Pre‑production & planning

Review project specs, drawings and material submittals for panel design and installation requirements.

Check and approve cutting files / shop drawings for dimensions, patterns and tolerances.

Production quality checks

Conduct pre‑production and in‑process inspections to prevent errors and rework.

Verify cutting layouts, finishes and material usage for accuracy and efficiency.

Site & installation inspection

Inspect panel installation on site during and after works.

Check sizes, joint alignment, groove lines, edge finishes and fixing locations against drawings and standards.

Documentation & reporting

Maintain QA/QC records: cutting approvals, inspection reports, NCR / defect logs and close‑out documents.

Report key quality metrics and issues to management and project teams.

Training & collaboration

Promote quality awareness with production and site teams.

Guide operators / installers on common defects, workmanship standards and corrective actions.

Requirements
Must‑have

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Civil / Mechanical or related technical field

QA/QC experience in manufacturing, construction, interior fit‑out or materials inspection

Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, tape, rulers) and basic MS Office

Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills; able to spot defects quickly

Nice‑to‑have

Experience with acoustic panels, wall / ceiling systems, or architectural finishes

Knowledge of ISO / ASTM or similar quality standards

Experience training or coaching production / site teams on quality
