rade & Corporate Actions Operations Manager

Description

Be able to perform end-to-end Equities, Mutual funds, and Options Transactions/Corporate actions etc.
Check and verify that all securities/trade transactions are completed, settlements instructions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Review all trade matching reports and ensure all failed trades are promptly resolved.
Ensure funding sufficiency for trade settlements.
Reconciliation trade/shares, corporate actions for Equities, Mutual funds, and Options.
Adhering to control procedures, identifying gaps, and ensuring controls are implemented to close those gaps.
Setup of Options/Mutual funds process flow with a counterparty and streamline the process.
Interpret data and make recommendations for the launch of new products/services and upgraded platforms.
Adhering to control procedures, manage escalate and resolve all requests/inquiries/issues/errors and identify policy gaps and formulate policies to streamline processes.
Participating in project initiatives and taking up ad hoc tasks as required.
Support change by assisting in devising and implementing improved processes and global entity operations function.
This job will experience a rotation of roles within the Operations team.
Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Profile

A successful Operations Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience with more than 6 years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions & Equities or Derivatives in either retail or institutional.
Trade support/settlement in either stockbroking firms, custodian/banks or clearinghouse.
Possess knowledge and experience in Equities/Options/ Mutual funds etc.
Understands the entire trade flow from front to back and the reconciliation process.
Knowledge of payment and receipt skillsets.
