Elite Material (Penang) Sdn Bhd (EMC), a leading copper-clad laminate (CCL) manufacturer, became the world’s largest supplier of halogen-free laminates in 2013. By 2023, it ranked third globally in the CCL sector and established a new factory in Penang Science Park, Malaysia. A high-tech enterprise under the Taiwanese stock exchange, EMC Penang was incorporated in April 2023. Covering 13.62 acres, it features advanced automated manufacturing and warehousing. Its main products, CCL and Prepreg (PP) for printed circuits, are exported worldwide. EMC has led halogen-free material sales for years. The factory is partly dust-free, with fully automated operations.
