Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations for the branch office

Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

Liaise with customers, suppliers and carriers to ensure seamless transportation of freight

Build and manage a team of executives and coordinators in day-to-day operations

Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations

Identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the logistics chain

Collaborate with other departments to optimise storage, distribution and delivery

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to freight movements

Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience in operational role, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity in a logistics/ freight forwarding industry

Strong working knowledge of freight forwarding operations

Ability to lead and motivate a team, as well as work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders

Familiarity with local and international freight regulations and compliance requirements
