Job Description

-Handles daily accounting and finance operations of entities that being assigned by Superior of which the work involves in checking on collections, bank reconciliations, processing invoices for payments and monthly closing.

-Liaise with AP and AR functions on the month end close activity, in order to obtain information in respect of accruals and similar appropriate adjustments and to facilitate the review and approval process.

-Responsible to ensure preparation, uploading and posting of journals to financial system. Ensure that all journals prepared are supported by appropriate documentation and approvals. That the journal upload and posting are processed in the correct accounting period, functional currency and legal entity.

-Ensure that all notes to the balance sheet (notes pack) are prepared on a monthly basis. Any Discrepancies and/or errors are identified with the remedial/rectification action and resolutions for review.

-Ensure that all documentation of month end close activities are fully supported and approved. Ensure that all hard copy documentation is filed and shared in the appropriate repository for ease of reference and access.

-Ensure that all matters related to year end statutory audit and tax filings are attended to in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

-Participate and assist actively on all work automation and new ERP works and working closely with the team and superior.

-Handles the preparation of agents' commission/ incentives and other marketing-related payments and ensure timely pay-outs.

-Carry out ad-hoc assignment as delegated by Superior or Senior Management.

Job Requirement

-Posses Accounting/ Finance Degree or equivalent

-At least 1 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.

-Audit experience is added advantage

-Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

-Ability to effectively priorities and execute tasks in a fast past and rapidly changing environment.

-Self-starter who is motivated, flexible and work well in a team environment.

-Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
