Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented IT Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, testing, and maintaining code for various software applications, systems, and tools to meet business needs. You should be proficient in multiple programming languages and capable of working independently or in a team environment. You should also possess a skill set that includes design, problem-solving, and system-level thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to project requirements.

-Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.

-Collaborate with analysts, developers, and end users to gather and define requirements.

-Troubleshoot and resolve software defects or issues promptly.

-Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

-Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

-Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and best practices in software development.

-Assist in database design and integration with applications as needed.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

-Proven experience as a programmer or software developer.

-Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL, PHP, or JavaScript, Google Apps Script

-Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle SQL).

-Familiarity with BI & visualization design will be an added advantage (eg Tableau, Looker Studio)

-Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).

-Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

-Good communication and teamwork abilities.
