What you'll be doing

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the margarine production plant, ensuring smooth and efficient processes

Monitor and analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement optimisation strategies

Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve problems promptly

Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain consistent product quality

Train and mentor production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production with broader business objectives

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or production industry, preferably in the food or FMCG sector

Thorough understanding of margarine production processes, equipment, and quality control procedures is a MUST

Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with team members and stakeholders

Proficient in data analysis and process optimisation techniques

Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
