Job Description

Key Responsibilities
-Client Portfolio Management: Handle full sets of accounts for multiple external clients across industries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and client-specific requirements.
-Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, maintaining professional and proactive communication to build lasting relationships.
-Invoice & Payment Processing: Oversee billing cycles, process supplier invoices, and manage payments while ensuring documentation accuracy.
-Bank Reconciliation: Perform and review bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between internal records and bank statements.
-Audit & Tax Support: Assist with audit preparations and liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure timely submissions.
-Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and accounting principles.
-Problem Solving: Identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in client accounts and propose corrective actions.
-Mentorship & Support: Provide guidance to junior associates or interns as needed to ensure high-quality output.
-Ad-hoc Assignments: Undertake any additional duties required to support the department or clients.

Requirements
-Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, MIA) are an added advantage.
-Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or audit, preferably in a client-servicing or outsourcing environment.
-Client Management: Proven experience managing external client accounts or projects.
-Tech Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting software (SQL, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.) is a plus.
-Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Mandarin proficiency is a bonus (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients).
-Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
-Time Management: Able to handle multiple client deadlines and tasks efficiently.
-Independent & Reliable: Able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to the team.
-Willingness to Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or on-site assignments.
