Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly-motivated Data Analyst to support our HQ and regional telco sales teams. This unique role combines deep-dive data analysis with crucial sales support and business administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be the backbone of our sales operations, transforming raw sales data into actionable insights while ensuring the seamless execution of backend processes like purchase orders and demo unit management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
Extract, clean, and analyze telco sales data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights for HQ and regional management.
Develop and maintain regular performance dashboards and reports tracking key metrics such as sales trends, product performance, and regional achievements.
Identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within the sales data to support strategic decision-making and sales forecasting.
Present data-driven findings and recommendations to the sales team in a clear and concise manner.
2. Business Development Administration & Operational Support
Purchase Order Management: Accurately generate, issue, and track all Purchase Orders (POs) for telco partners, ensuring timely processing and delivery.
Demo Unit Management: Handle the end-to-end logistics of all demo units, including inventory tracking, distribution to partners, and returns processing.
CRM Management: Serve as the primary user of the CRM system for telco partner accounts. Ensure all partner interactions, sales data, and account information are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
Telco Roadshow & Event Support: Provide crucial logistical and on-ground support for telco roadshows and partner events, including material preparation, booth setup, and lead capture assistance.
Job Requirement:
Proven experience (2+ years) in a data analysis role, preferably within sales or a commercial environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, specifically Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Charts) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with experience in handling POs, inventory, or CRM systems.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience in the telecommunications industry.
Experience in supporting sales events or marketing activities.
Proficient spoken, read and written in Bahasa Malaysia & English. Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage (Speak, read & write).
