What you'll be doing
-Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for interior design projects, taking into account materials, labour, and other relevant factors
-Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the design and construction phases
-Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors
-Providing regular cost reports and financial updates to project managers and clients
-Identifying opportunities for cost-saving measures and implementing value engineering strategies
-Collaborating with the design team to ensure design decisions align with budgetary constraints
-Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards

What we're looking for
-Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
-Minimum 1 year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the interior design or construction industry. Fresh Graduates with relevant industrial training are also encouraged to apply.
-Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control
-Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
-Familiarity with industry project management tools is an added advantage
