Responsibilities:
-Oversee the setup and day-to-day operations of the new food manufacturing facility.
-Lead overall factory operations including production, quality control, logistics, and maintenance.
-Develop and implement strategies, processes, and systems to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
-Ensure adherence to food safety, health, halal, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, Halal certifications).
-Manage the setup and commissioning of the new factory, coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and government authorities.
-Oversee resource allocation and manage labor, materials, and equipment to ensure timely production and delivery.
-Lead and motivate a diverse team, providing training and development to ensure high performance.
-Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, and Japan teams to align production goals with business objectives.
-Manage the operations department budget and ensure cost control measures are in place.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
-Handle troubleshooting and problem-solving for operational challenges.

Requirements:
-7 years of experience in operations management in the food manufacturing industry.
-Proficiency in Food Engineering/Science.
-Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
-Proficiency in production management software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools.
-Proven track record of managing a team and complex operations in a manufacturing environment.
-Experience in setting up and commissioning a new manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
-Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
