Overview

The Lorry Attendant plays a key role in supporting delivery operations by assisting drivers with loading, securing, transporting, and unloading goods. This position ensures that items are handled safely, documentation is accurate, and all activities comply with company and safety standards.



Key Responsibilities

Assist drivers in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Arrange and secure cargo in the lorry for safe transportation.

Check delivery receipts and verify items against documentation.

Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptly.

Provide general assistance to drivers during deliveries for efficient and timely operations.

Report any irregularities or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Help maintain basic lorry cleanliness and upkeep.

Follow all safety rules and procedures related to warehouse logistics and transport.

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.



Qualifications

Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting of heavy items.

Basic understanding of delivery processes and safety practices.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours and assist in various logistics tasks.
