About the role

As an AS400 Application SupportProduction Support at Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the company's critical AS400 applications. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. You will work closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth running of the AS400 system and resolve any issues that arise.

What you'll be doing

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for AS400 applications

Monitoring the performance and availability of AS400 systems

Implementing and testing software updates and patches

Documenting processes and procedures for the AS400 environment

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues

Adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain system integrity

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in AS400 application support or production support

Strong technical understanding of AS400 architecture, programming, and database management

Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to AS400 applications

Knowledge of IBM i (AS400) operating system, RPG programming, and SQL

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
