Responsibilities:

Material Planning:
-Forecast material requirements based on production plans, sales forecasts, and inventory policies.
-Develop and implement material planning strategies to align with production goals and customer demand.
-Oversee the use of ERP software to generate accurate material requirements, purchase orders, and inventory schedules.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, procurement, and logistics) to coordinate material flow and minimize production disruptions.
-Analyze historical data, production forecasts, and market trends to predict future material requirements.
-Understand production schedules in coordination with the material planning.
-Adjust plans in response to changes in customer demand, production delays, or material availability.

Inventory Management:
-Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (Work in Progress), and finished goods.
-Implement and follow up on inventory control procedures to minimize obsolescence and stockouts.
-Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock records and timely dispatches.

Audit and Compliance
-Manage AVL List, Department KPI, Supplier Evaluation, Audit Checklist.
-Assist in customer and compliance audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
-Manage Annual Purchase Reports and Annual Budget
-Support adherence to procurement standards, safety protocols and production deadlines.

Continuous Improvement and General Support
-Participate in and support continuous improvement aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and overall operational effectiveness.
-Involve in Kaizen, 5s and 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) program.

Requirements:
-Diploma or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
-Min 2 years of experience as a material planner or similar role in the automotive industry.
-Good knowledge in ERP software, to manage material planning.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize inventory, minimize costs, and mitigate supply chain risks.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Mandarin proficiency is a plus to work closely with our China-based vendors and suppliers.
-Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
-Proficient in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting using tools like Excel.
-Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and supply chain best practices.
