Responsibilities:

Perform inspection on incoming materials and purchased parts for defects or deviations from specifications and standards by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

Perform inspection on outgoing machining parts or components for defects or deviations from specifications and standards by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for rework and confirming rework.

Read and interpret materials, work orders, inspection manuals, meters, engineering diagrams and blueprints to determine inspection and test procedures.

Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.

Report quality problems or findings to QA Supervisor and follow up to ensure that corrective action is done.

Interact with Production and Engineering departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.

Transfer all QA accepted machining parts or components to Store & Logistic for storage, special process or for shipment to customer in a timely manner.

Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.



Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in any Engineering related field; or at least 1 to 3 years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings.

Ability to handle QA measuring instruments and equipment.

Strong analytical skills in resolving quality issues.

Knowledge of CMM operation and programming is an advantage.

Thorough and detail oriented.

Problem solving skills.

Should work well with established process and with people.
