What You’ll Do
1.Halal Compliance & Certification

Liaise with JAKIM and certification bodies for Halal matters.

Manage Halal certificates and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS).

Conduct Halal audits and supplier verification and provide staff training.

Support new product development from a Halal perspective.

2.Quality Assurance & Food Safety

Monitor compliance with GMP, HACCP and FSSC 22000 standards.

Perform audits and inspections across production and warehousing.

Review specifications for raw materials, packaging and finished products.

Investigate complaints and non-conformances and maintain QMS documents.

3.Regulatory & Customer Support

Collaborate on product registration, labelling and Halal claims.

Prepare documentation for audits, tenders and export requirements.

Track regulatory updates and communicate changes to management.

4.Continuous Improvement & Training

Lead training on GMP, hygiene and quality practices.

Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.

Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

5.Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management.


Who We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Studies or a related field.

Certified Halal Executive by JAKIM.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with 2 years of experience will be prioritised.

Familiar with JAKIM Halal requirements, HAS, GMP, HACCP and ISO/FSSC 22000.

Good understanding of food ingredients, supply chain processes and regulatory frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).

Willing to work six days a week
