Job Description

Key Competencies & Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Skilled in the use of SCM and SAP for developing inventory levels and net replenishment requirements.

Understanding of market demand volatility affected by events such as tenders and competitor actions.

Ability to create groupings from product dependencies and common characteristics.

Knowledge of I.T. processes and their impact on supply chain functions.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience in an automated ERP environment (SAP preferred).

Use of SCM tools and proficiency in all aspects of these systems.

Behavioral Skills:

Promotes an inclusive work environment.

Action-oriented and customer-focused.

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to influence others and deal with ambiguity.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in an automated ERP environment.

Extensive experience with MPS/MRP systems.

Preferable experience in the manufacturing area, as a plant manager.

Experience implementing Supply Chain Planning Execution Systems and Processes within an ERP environment.

Education:

University degree preferred in a relevant discipline.

APICS certification is an asset.

Green Belt/lean certification is a plus.

BS/BA with a concentration in Logistics, Engineering, Operations Management, or related degree required.

MBA or other advanced degree desirable.

Responsibilities:

Provide strong leadership and direction to the team.

Develop comprehensive plans to achieve organizational goals.

Manage day-to-day operations across various functions within the organization.

Identify and solve problems that may arise during implementation or operation of programs/projects.

Ensure effective communication between different departments and external stakeholders.

Foster collaboration and understanding among all parties involved.

Monitor expenditures related to program/project budgets.

Ensure adherence to budget constraints while maintaining quality standards.

Motivate team members towards achieving common goals.

Recognize contributions made by each individual toward success.

Assess potential risks associated with proposed actions/decisions.

Develop contingency plans to address unexpected obstacles.

Analyze data and feedback regarding processes and procedures.

Propose improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity levels.

Prepare regular reports outlining project/program status updates.

Provide recommendations for necessary changes or modifications.

Build relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Gather requirements and gain support for initiatives undertaken by the organization.

Additional Skills:

Strong analytical skills including business and financial analyses.

Advanced PC application skills.

Demonstrated change management skills.

Thorough knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements.

Need to have warehouse management + LMW+ Logistic.
