SITE SAFETY SUPERVISOR (Rantau Panjang, Kelantan)

Responsibilities

Supervises day-to-day activities within a particular construction workplace

Ensures that workers make use of necessary protective equipment

Investigates accidents and tackle their causes

Takes note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately acts on them

Arranges training programs on safety measures within the workplace

Develops plans for emergency procedures with the consent of the manager(s) of the workplace

Receives and acts on reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site/workplace

Introduces measures that will help curb accidents within the workplace.

Conduct toolbox training and etc. relevant to safety issues

Requirement

Minimum 3 years working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.

Must be yellow book holder (for safety supervisor)

Willing to work at Project Site - Rantau Panjang, Kelantan

Advantage is able to start work immediately or 1 month notice

Possess Diploma/Certificate in Occupational, Safety and Health qualification.

Must possess relevant certified competency certificate endorsed by NIOSH.

Must be fully conversant with various government legislation that relates to safety work practices at project sites.
