Senior/Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team at for out clients. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting functions for the company. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Johor Bahru, Johor.

What you'll be doing

Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring all transactions are recorded properly

Reconciling bank accounts and other key balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis

Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies

Supervising and mentoring junior members of the finance team

Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar senior accounting role, in the manufacturing industry

Thorough knowledge of financial accounting principles, IFRS, and Malaysian tax regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Proficient in SAP accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Support local and Overseas office
