Assistant Financial Controller (Based at Langkawi)

• Oversee timely preparation and submission of monthly reports.

• To verify all payment vouchers before forwarding to the General manager for approval.

• To ensure prompt preparation and processing of supplier payment.

• To approve Purchase Requests in the absence of the Financial Controller.

• Supervise, train and support the finance team in daily operations.

• Review and approve petty cash claims.

• To enforce the company's accounting procedures to maintain efficient department operations.

• To coordinate with internal auditor and external auditors during annual audits and ensure accurate reporting.

• To compile and provide financial data required by government bodies.

• Oversee the timely submission of annual reports on income, expenditure, and fixed assets to relevant authorities.

• To attend management meetings in the absence of the Financial Controller.

• To prepare yearly Budget in the absence of the Financial Controller.

• To approve overtime claims and leave requests for the Finance team in the absence of the Financial Controller.

• To be at the workplace at least 15 minutes before the commencement of his/her shift.

• To carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
