Project Engineer (Electrical / Solar)

Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Project Engineer to manage and execute electrical
and solar PV projects from planning to completion. The ideal candidate is proactive, detailoriented, and capable of handling both site work and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
Requirements
· Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
· 2–5 years experience in electrical or solar PV projects
· Knowledge of solar PV systems, installation, and commissioning is an advantage
· Knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, protection systems)
· Strong coordination, problem-solving, and site management skills
· Able to work independently and handle multiple projects
· Experience in solar PV projects or electrical contractor environment will be an added
advantage
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
· Willing to work on-site and travel when required
· Proficient in English, Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred
· Possess own transport
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and supervise project execution (electrical / solar PV)
· Review drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
· Manage site activities, subcontractors, and installation works
· Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and authorities
· Monitor project progress, schedule, and cost control
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
· Support testing, commissioning, and project handover
· Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates
