Revenue & Cost Accountant - based in Penang

Key Responsibilities

Return Material Authorization (RMA) accruals.

Manage rebates, authorization and payment.

Month-end close in Revenue.

Manage Accounts Receivable including collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, dispute resolution, etc.

Review and manage distributor's Ship & Debit claims and distributor inventory reconciliations.

POS review and validation.

Manage revenue forecast for management reporting (standard margin reporting).

Manage auditors’ queries on specific item related to duties specified.

Participate in New System implementation and projects.

Audits - assist in inventory and distributors audits.

Any other future duties as assigned by Finance Manager or Director.


Requirements

At least min Degree with Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Min 4 - 5 years’ Costing experience in manufacturing environment / some or all of these years in Accounting firm.

Accounting period-end close experience.

Advanced Excel skills required, Oracle a plus.

Any other relevant high-tech or semiconductor working experience a plus.

Revenue accounting (G/L Revenue, AR) skills, knowledge, and experience a plus.

Must be willing to be based in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
