Silverlake - AS400/DB2, Production Support (L3) - RPG, COBOL, Java, B1/B2

Key Responsibilities

L2 Application Maintenance Production Support

Provide Level 2 support for Remittance REM and ROS Payments applications running on AS400

Resolve incidents escalated from L1 teams and ensure timely resolution within SLAs

Perform troubleshooting for jobs interfaces and payment processing flows

Monitor daily batch operations related to payments SWIFT RTGS GIRO etc

Support realtime payment channels such as FAST and PayNow

Development Enhancements

Develop and maintain AS400 programs using RPG and COBOL to support business requirements

Make code changes enhancements and fixes related to remittance and payments modules

Conduct impact analysis coding unit testing and assist with SITUAT

Ensure accuracy stability and high performance of payment applications

Payments Domain Support

Work on various payment channels including

SWIFT Telegraphic Transfers TT

Demand Draft

Cashiers Orders

Local RTGS payments

GIRO payments

FAST PayNow realtime payments

Ensure compliance with bank standards for crossborder and domestic payments

DevOps Release Management

Use Aldon for version control code migration and deployment activities

Coordinate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth release cycles

Support platform integration using MQ SFTP and Direct Connect

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with business users L3 teams infrastructure teams and payment operations

Participate in incident calls payment issue triage and daily standups

Provide timely updates issue summaries and RCA documentation

Documentation Compliance

Maintain technical documentation SOPs deployment notes and support runbooks

Ensure compliance with audit risk and security requirements

Document incident resolutions workarounds and knowledge base entries

Required Skills Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in AS400DB2 development and support

Strong handson programming skills in RPG and COBOL

Practical experience in remittance or banking payments REMROS preferred

Experience working with Aldon MQ SFTP and integration components

Good understanding of payment systems SWIFT RTGS GIRO FAST PayNow

Solid knowledge of Incident Problem and Change Management ITIL

Strong analytical and debugging skills

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
