Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Petaling Jaya, with a mix of on-site customer visits, in-office collaboration, and some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Executive (HoReCa Industry) is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, cafés, and related segments. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales visits and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms to close deals. The role also involves managing and growing existing accounts, building long-term customer relationships, and ensuring excellent service and follow-up. The Business Development Executive will collaborate with internal teams on pricing, promotions, and product positioning, monitor market trends and competitor activities, and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to support business planning.


Qualifications:

Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities in the HoReCa segment.
Solid account management abilities, including maintaining relationships, driving repeat business, and growing key accounts.
Effective business and commercial acumen, with a results-oriented mindset and comfort working with sales targets and KPIs.
Clear and professional communication skills, including face-to-face presentations, phone discussions, and written correspondence.
Previous experience in the HoReCa, foodservice, hospitality, or FMCG sector is highly beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage time and territory efficiently, and travel locally for client meetings.
Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools for maintaining pipelines, preparing reports, and tracking customer interactions.
Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
