Petroluxe Refinery (M) Sdn Bhd, a wholly foreign-owned company under China’s Yihong New Energy Group, was established in March 2024 and is based in Kuala Lumpur. It focuses on refining, blending, and trading hydrocarbons, chemicals, and bitumen. The company is developing an integrated petrochemical complex in Gebeng, Kuantan, including a refinery, petrochemical units, blending facility, tank farm, and jetty. It aims to boost local employment, port activity, and contribute RM100 million in annual taxes. Petroluxe also operates a regional trading hub and collaborates globally on petrochemical trade.
