Founded in 2001, GIANTECH Engineering Pte Ltd, previously known as Goh IGS and Automation Pte Ltd (GIA), was established by Mr. Goh Soo Heong, who was a senior marine engineer at a Norwegian marine inert gas systems company based in Singapore. Mr. Goh’s technical expertise along with the positive customer relationships he established over the years helped form a solid foundation for GIA’s business. As the company grew, it transformed from a local engineering company to an international solution provider for various equipment including inert gas systems, nitrogen generator systems, boilers, P/V valves, ballast water management systems, and compressors. The new name, GIANTECH, given on April 5th, 2016, reflects the company’s core strengths and ambitions in the global arena. In the last few years, GIANTECH has become a major marine life cycle management player, helping ship owners maintain their equipment through providing quality engineering services, equipment, and technology over the lifetime of their vessels. .
