Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of account management principles and practices.
Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial reports accurately and efficiently.
Experience in budgeting processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control.
Familiarity with the automotive industry, including its financial and operational aspects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and manage the company's budget, including forecasting revenue and expenses, monitoring budget performance, and identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management on financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective financial management.
Manage cash flow and working capital effectively, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing payment terms.
Stay up-to-date on accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends, and provide guidance and training to accounting staff.
Provide financial analysis support for business decisions, including investment analysis, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
