Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) legislation and project safety requirements.

Establish, review, and implement the Safety & Health Management Plan and Site Safety Procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety audits to identify risks and unsafe practices.

Lead incident/accident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain and update all statutory documentation (e.g., Safety & Health Committee Meeting minutes, HIRARC, JSA, Permit to Work).

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities (e.g., DOSH, CIDB, local council) on safety-related matters.

Provide safety induction and training to workers and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.

Monitor implementation of Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and facilitate emergency drills.

Keep up-to-date with latest safety regulations and ensure continuous improvement of site safety culture.

Requirements:

Must be a valid Green Book Holder registered with DOSH.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction or industrial site safety.

Knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CIDB regulations, and relevant Malaysian standards.

Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
