Requirements
Education & experience
-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or related field.
-Professional certification in Marketing, Sales Management, or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
-Executive Level: At least 3-5 years' experience in sales & marketing, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
-Manager Level: 7-10 years' relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
Skills & Competencies:
-Strong track record in achieving sales targets and delivering marketing ROI.
-Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
-Solid knowledge of branding, digital marketing, and trade marketing.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
-Ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
-Fluency in Mandarin and English is required; knowledge of additional languages (Arabic, Japanese, etc.) is advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy & Business Development
-Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve revenue, profit, and growth objectives.
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities across local and international markets.
-Manage existing key accounts, distributors, and clients to strengthen long-term partnerships.
-Negotiate contracts, sales agreements, and pricing terms to optimize profitability.
-Conduct business presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
-Monitor sales performance by product, customer, and region; recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Marketing & Brand Development
-Design and execute integrated marketing plans (digital, trade shows, events, PR, and traditional media).
-Strengthen the company's brand image and market positioning in the food/FMCG industry.
-Collaborate with creative agencies and in-house teams for advertising campaigns, promotional content, and packaging design.-
Conduct consumer and market research to identify growth opportunities, trends, and threats.
-Plan and oversee product launches, roadshows, and promotional activities to maximize market impact.
Product & Market Strategy
-Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to develop new products in line with market demand.
-Analyze product performance, pricing competitiveness, and customer feedback.
-Recommend adjustments to product offerings, packaging, and pricing strategies to improve market acceptance.
-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (Halal, HACCP, ISO, FDA, EU standards).
Customer Relationship Management
-Maintain close relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
-Provide support and after-sales service to strengthen customer satisfaction and loyalty.
-Resolve disputes and handle escalated customer concerns in a professional manner.
-Build and manage a customer database and leverage CRM tools for engagement and retention.
Reporting & Analysis
-Prepare reports on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market intelligence.
-Provide accurate sales forecasts, revenue projections, and competitor benchmarking.
-Use analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Leadership & Team Development (Manager Level)
-Lead and mentor the sales & marketing team, setting clear KPIs and performance targets.
-Conduct training and development programs to upskill team members.
-Build a collaborative, high-performance culture within the department.
-Drive alignment between sales, marketing, and cross-functional departments.
Representation & Networking
-Represent EHH Food Industry Sdn Bhd at trade shows, exhibitions, and business conferences.
-Build networks with trade associations, chambers of commerce, and government export bodies.
-Seek collaboration opportunities with partners, agencies, and global trade platforms.
