Major Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

-To safely transport the company Directors, staffs, and guests from and to designated location when required i.e. airport, hotel, office etc.

-To upkeep the company’s vehicles by ensuring regular servicing is conducted as scheduled, maintaining cleanliness and proper maintenance.

-To record vehicle usage, mileage and digital devices transaction before and after each use.

-To report any accidents, breakdowns or damage to the Superior immediately.

-To manage all affairs as requested by internal departments, including document related matters to banks, government offices, hostel, companies/ shops etc. in Melaka or Alor Gajah.

-To fetch the workers as and when required i.e. overtime, injection, FOMEMA, airport, hospital/clinic etc.

-To ensure timely service whether in fetching people or in the delivery and collection of documents.

-Not allowed to smoke when driving and to drive carefully as to ensure the safety of all the passengers.

-Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.



Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have:·

-Minimum SPM or equivalent educational qualification.

-Possess a valid Class D driving license; Class GDL will be an added advantage.

-Proven experience as a company or personal driver with a good track record of safe driving.

-Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, routes, and basic vehicle maintenance will be an added advantage.

-Proficient in using Waze and Google Maps applications.

-Physically fit and willing to work flexible hours including weekends or outstation trips, when necessary.

-A team player with a positive attitude; polite, responsible, punctual, and trustworthy.

-Well-groomed and presentable.

-Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with colleagues and external parties.

-Willing to work in Alor Gajah, Melaka.

-Willing to travel.
