Job Description

1. Plan, install,

Oversee the installation and maintenance of electronic and instrumentation equipment, ensuring proper wiring, connections, and grounding.

Responsible for the PLC system in the plant include plan, install, monitor and maintain the system.

To ensure SCADA system is in a good condition.

Monitor the performance of electronics and instrument system to identify and diagnose potential problems, breakdowns, repairs that are require. Proactively make plans to rectify and repair to avoid any unplanned downtime.

Constantly keep abreast of the technological evolution, leading practices, industry standards to upkeep and implement feasible technological enhancements that are beneficial to improved performance and better efficiency.

Research on new materials and propose solutions that can be utilized or implemented to improve the functionality of electronic and instrument equipment.

Manage suppliers, contractors and vendors of the electronics and instrument system to ensure the maintenance repair or installation of equipment fulfils the requirement/ performance expected by the stakeholders.

Maintain detailed documentation of all designs, installations, and maintenance activities.

Develop and share the knowledge in the area of expertise with the team, to enhance the competency and upskill the skillset of the workforce in the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics or Instrumentation or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 3.2

Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical and instrumentation.

Proficient in computer software including PLC programming.
