Job Description

You will play an important role in:
-Lead warehouse operations: Oversee daily activities to ensure smooth material flow and accurate inventory control.
-Implement best practices: Apply FIFO/FEFO principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize performance.
-Manage inventory: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in SAP / WMS systems.
-Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Production, Purchasing, and Planning teams to ensure timely material supply.
-Develop your team: Coach and train warehouse staff, setting clear KPIs and fostering a culture of excellence.
-Drive process improvements: Utilize Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other operational excellence tools to enhance efficiency.
-Organize Deliveries: Oversee the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
-Supervise Warehouse Operations: Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities, adhering to company standards and audit requirements.
-Optimize Warehouse Layout: Design and implement efficient space utilization and equipment layouts to maximize productivity.
-Lead and Train Team: Guide and motivate your team to solve operational issues and meet performance goals.
-Ensure Compliance: Follow all regulatory standards and maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.

To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
-Strong knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and warehouse operations
-Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
-Proficient in using warehouse management systems and data analysis tools, especially SAP software
-Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
-A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
-Proficiency in Mandarin is required as you would need to liaise with stakeholders from China.
