Job Description

Food Preparation & Cooking.
• Prepare and cook food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Ensure all dishes are made quickly and consistently to meet fast food service demands.
• Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before serving.
• Station Management.
• Supervise and operate a specific section (grill, fryer, prep, assembly, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the station during service.
• Assist in training junior staff and kitchen assistants.

Quality & Hygiene Control
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Check stock rotation, freshness, and storage conditions of ingredients.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining portion and cost control.

Teamwork & Efficiency
• Work closely with the Head Chef and fellow chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support peak service periods with speed, accuracy, and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely food service.

Inventory & Stock Control
• Monitor ingredient levels and report shortages.
• Assist in receiving, labelling and storing deliveries correctly.
