Key Responsibilities
-Assist in preparing ingredients (e.g., chopping vegetables, marinating meats, portioning sauces)
-Cook or assemble simple dishes under supervision
-Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
-Wash dishes, pots, and pans using proper sanitation procedures
-Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO)
-Dispose of waste and recyclables according to kitchen protocols
-Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene standards at all times
-Support chefs and cooks during busy service periods
-Ensure all kitchen stations are stocked and organized
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Supervisor

Requirements
-Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required (training provided)
-Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
-Strong teamwork and communication skills
-Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
-Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
