Position: C&S Engineer / Coordinator

Location: Johor Bahru District

Job Summary
The C&S Engineer / Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising civil and structural works to ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure timely and compliant project execution.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise civil and structural works on site

Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements

Liaise with consultants, contractors, and site teams on C&S matters

Review and coordinate shop drawings and technical submissions

Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and safety compliance

Identify and resolve civil and structural technical issues

Conduct site inspections and ensure rectification of defects

Maintain site records, reports, and C&S-related documentation

Support project team in planning and coordination of site activities

Ensures the implementation of the ISO 9001requirements are effectively carried out

Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related field

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in construction industry

Experience in Healthcare, Data Centre, Commercial Buildings, and Fit-out works is an advantage

Good knowledge of civil and structural construction methods

Able to read and interpret construction and structural drawings

Familiar with local authority requirements and site safety practices

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage

Willing to be site-based
