DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Procurement
-Manage all procurement activities.
-Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
-Process purchase requisitions promptly and accurately.
-Issue purchase orders for direct and indirect purchases.

Inventory
-Handle shipping documents and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
-Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate stock-in quantities and accuracy in ERP system.
-Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implement strategies to minimize inventory write-offs.
-Assist in mid & end year stock take including reconciliation of stock discrepancies.

Vendor Management
-Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers/vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods/services.
-Address any vendor-related issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
-Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to support continuous improvement initiatives.
-Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and improve overall value.

Reporting & Analysis
-Generate regular reports on procurement and inventory metrics, including purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
-Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
-Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis findings.
-Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and experience:
-Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
-Proven experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
-Strong understanding of procurement processes, inventory control principles, and supply chain management concepts.
-Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
-Proficiency in using inventory management software and ERP systems.
-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-Fluency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
