The Management Accounting team is responsible for ensuring all Management Accounting and Project-related activities are performed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, in compliance with Group and International Accounting Standards.

Responsibilities

- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development.
- Prepare and process Management Accounting and Project accounting activities, including:
- Fixed asset capitalisation
- Assets Under Construction (AUC) balance management
- Project cost transfers
- Project impairment assessments
- Monitor and identify emerging issues such as:
- Aged or negative AUC balances
- Non-depreciating assets
- Incorrect asset classes or depreciation keys
- Work closely with Finance Business Partners, Fixed Assets, Supply, Master Data teams, Tax, and Accounting & Reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of activities.
- Support financial analysis and query resolution where required.
- Provide backup support to team members and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
