Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1) Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for products and services, targeting residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for the team, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall growth objectives.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand customer needs, and refine sales approaches to stay competitive in the solar industry.
2) Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and support to drive performance and achieve targets.
Identify training and development needs within the team, facilitating skill-building sessions to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Ensure eNPS is achieved according to company standards.
3) Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Oversee the customer acquisition process, from initial contact and consultation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Act as a key point of contact for major accounts, addressing concerns and providing solutions to meet client needs, especially for high-stakes commercial and industrial clients.
Ensure NPS is achieved according to company standards.
4) Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement, adjusting strategies as needed.
Prepare regular reports on sales metrics, forecasts, and performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous growth.
Implement CRM best practices to improve sales tracking, pipeline management, and customer relationship processes.
5) Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted campaigns and sales materials that support lead generation and conversion.
Work closely with the Operations and Project teams to ensure smooth coordination from sales to installation, managing client expectations and timelines.
Liaise with the Customer Service team to monitor and improve customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any post-sales issues effectively.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally within the renewable energy, solar, or construction industries.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of solar energy solutions and market dynamics is preferred.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales performance tracking tools.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Customer Focus: Strong relationship-building skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to devise effective sales strategies based on market analysis, performance data, and customer insights.
