Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, highly trusted Executive Assistant to the Group CEO with a strong legal background to support the CEO of a listed group. This is a critical role requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and a deep understanding of corporate governance, regulatory obligations, and Board-level operations.
The successful candidate will function as a strategic enabler to the CEO, providing executive, legal, and governance support in a highly regulated, fast-paced public company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Board-Level Support
Provide end-to-end executive support to the Group CEO, including complex diary management, multi-market travel coordination, and preparation for high-level meetings.
Act as a key point of contact between the CEO, Board of Directors, senior leadership team, investors, regulators, and external advisers.
Prepare, review, and manage Board, Committee, and executive papers, presentations, and briefing materials.
Legal, Governance & Regulatory Support
Support corporate governance matters in compliance with listing rules, securities regulations, and corporate governance codes.
Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, resolutions, and action tracking.
Assist with review and coordination of legal documentation such as contracts, announcements, circulars, resolutions, and regulatory filings.
Liaise with Company Secretary, external counsel to ensure timely and accurate execution of governance and compliance matters.
Track regulatory deadlines, disclosures, and ongoing obligations relevant to a listed entity.
Market Sensitivity & Confidentiality
Manage price-sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion and compliance with insider information protocols.
Support the CEO in ensuring timely and accurate information flow while mitigating regulatory and reputational risk.
Strategic & Operational Support
Support strategic initiatives, M&A-related activities (where applicable), and special projects as directed by the CEO.
Drive efficiency and best practices within the CEO’s office, including document control and information management.
Anticipate priorities and risks, providing proactive support in a dynamic listed company environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); admission to the Bar or prior legal practice is an advantage.
8–12 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, Group Executive, Partner, or equivalent senior role, ideally within a listed company, law firm, or regulated environment.
Strong working knowledge of listing rules, corporate governance frameworks, and regulatory disclosure requirements.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience handling Board-level documentation.
High level of professionalism, maturity, and stakeholder management capability.
Ability to operate with discretion, resilience, and sound judgment under pressure.
