OB DESCRIPTION-GENERAL CLERK (DATA ENTRY)

LOCATION : LOT 2889, LEBUH KAMPUNG JAWA, FIZ PHASE 3, 11900 BAYAN LEPAS, PENANG MALAYSIA

EMPLOYMENT : PERMANENT POSITION

REPORT TO : ADMINISTRATION / OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

SALARY : MYR 2,000 – 2,800 PER MONTH (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)



Working Hours : 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW

The General Clerk (Data Entry) is responsible for performing administrative and data entry tasks to support daily operations. This role focuses on accurate key-in of data, document handling, and basic administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient internal processes within the organization.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform accurate data entry (key-in) into ERP or internal systems.

· Update and maintain records, databases, and filing systems.

· Prepare and process basic documents such as reports, forms, and lists.

· Assist in handling daily administrative and clerical tasks.

· Support departments with data checking, printing, and documentation.

· Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper record keeping.

· Comply with company procedures and FTZ administrative requirements.



SKILLS & SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

· Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, email).

· Experience with ERP or internal systems is an advantage.

· Good typing speed with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to handle repetitive data entry work accurately.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· SPM, Certificate, or Diploma qualification.

· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Prior clerical or data entry experience is an added advantage.



Language Requirement

Preferred candidates should be able to communicate effectively in the following languages:
