Responsibilities:

To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation.

To initiate research & development efforts to create new products.

To establish/maintain and update related work instructions, including analysis method, specification (recipe, ingredients list, nutritional fact) and documents of all projects and samples status on time.

To conduct and monitor the preparation of prototype/sample and to determine the process specifications in the lab.

To improve and revise existing product formulations and process, if necessary, to optimize productivity and cost.

Selection and quality control of raw materials used in products.

To provide relevant technical support and expertise regarding product, process, ingredients or food regulations as appropriate.

To review packaging requirement and specifications.

To maintain and compute costing for projects

Any ad-hoc duties as assigned, such as QA projects

Requirements:

Degree in Food Technologies/Nutrition or its equivalent.

Fresh graduate welcome to apply

Familiar with general food processes, food safety requirements, local Food Act & Regulations, GMP, FSSC and HACCP.

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Bilingual in English, Malay and Mandarin due to job function required.

Willing to learn other skillset and contribute effectively
