Requirements for Hiring a Construction Site Supervisor in Melaka Tengah

1. Minimum Educational & Certification Requirements
· Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
· SPM/STPM with relevant technical certifications (acceptable for experienced candidates).
· CIDB Green Card is required.
· NIOSH Safety or JKKP certification is a plus.

2. Work Experience & Skills
· Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building construction, infrastructure, or related projects.
· Proven track record in supervising residential, commercial, or industrial projects (depending on company needs).
· Familiarity with construction regulations and authority submissions (MBMB, JKR, etc.).
· Experience in coordinating subcontractors, workers, and suppliers.

3. Technical Knowledge
· Reading construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, M&E).
· Understanding scheduling (Gantt charts, Microsoft Project, Primavera).
· Basic AutoCAD/SketchUp knowledge (advantageous).
· Quality control & defect management.

4. Soft Skills:
· Strong leadership & problem-solving abilities.
· Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia & English (Chinese is a plus).
· Ability to handle worker disputes, delays, and site emergencies.

5. Legal & Safety Compliance
· Knowledge of:
· Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA 1994).
· Environmental & CIDB compliance (waste disposal, noise control, etc.).

6. Additional Preferred :
· Experience in high-rise, mixed-development, or government projects.
· Driving license (Class D)
