Key Responsibilities:

Business Development Executive (Genomics & Bioinformatics)

Promote the company’s existing brands and products to current and new markets, including introducing new products to the market.

Work closely with Genomics, Bioinformatics, and Medical Affairs teams and act as the company’s representative in client engagements, bridging technical, clinical, and commercial discussions to support business objectives.

Analyse budgets, prepare the annual budget plans, and schedule expenditures.

Manage and ensure that the sales team meets their targets and goals.

Implement new sales plans, directions, and advertising, both online and offline.

Identify and nurture strategic partnerships to drive sales.

Ensure all sales transactions are completed in a timely manner and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Maintain good relationships with important clients through regular engagement, understanding their needs, and anticipating new market opportunities.

Liaise with potential and existing clients by conducting product briefings and presentations to promote the company’s services and products.

Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

Create monthly revenue growth reports, including goal setting to support new account onboarding.

Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to Management.

Individual KPI: Key Performance Indicator will be reviewed based on dual selling concept.

Undertake other relevant duties assigned by Management, as necessary.

Requirements:

Degree in Genomics, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related fields

Experience or exposure in business development or client-facing roles

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Comfortable engaging with clinics, healthcare providers, and industry partners

Self-driven, target-oriented, and commercially minded
