Job Description

The Key responsibilities include:

1. Sales & Business Development
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue, and gross margin objectives.
• Develop new business opportunities and secure projects within the assigned territory.
• Manage and expand existing customer accounts to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
• Actively prospect OEMs, manufacturers, system integrators, contractors, and industrial end-users.
• Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and business performance reviews.

2. Technical & Commercial Execution
• Analyse customer application requirements and recommend suitable motor and drive solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and tender submissions.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to ensure profitability and business sustainability.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery commitments.
• Provide first-level technical support and escalate complex issues where necessary.

3. Market Development & Planning
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Identify new applications, industries, and market segments for motors and drives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and monthly performance reporting.
• Provide strategic market feedback to management for business planning and product positioning.

4. Relationship Management & Representation
• Represent the company professionally in all customer and industry engagements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Support exhibitions, trade shows, technical seminars, and marketing initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in electric motors, drives, motion control, or industrial automation products.
• Proven experience dealing with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial customers is preferred.

Technical & Commercial Competencies
• Strong understanding of motor applications, drives, and industrial automation systems.
• Solid negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to convert technical requirements into commercially viable solutions.

Personal Attributes
• Results-driven with strong accountability for sales performance.
• Customer-focused with excellent relationship management skills.
• Independent and proactive, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel regularly within assigned territory.
• Possess own transport.
