Experience & Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

3 - 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably in a Manufacturing, Automation, or Equipment assembly environment.

Technical Skills:

Technical Drawing Literacy: Ability to read and understand 2D/3D mechanical drawings (CAD) and electronic BOMs is essential.

Familiarity with machining processes (CNC, lathe, milling) and sheet metal fabrication is highly preferred.

Knowledge of PCBA supply chains and electronic component market trends.

Soft Skills:

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage both product suppliers and engineering contractors.

Excellent problem-solving skills to handle non-standard/custom requests.

Integrity and transparency in vendor management.Good communication skills in English & Mandarin (Mandarin is a MUST)

Responsibility
Non-Standard Custom Parts (Mechanical)

Source and procure non-standard customized parts (Metal & Non-metal) utilized for production line automation and equipment.

Read and interpret technical drawings to source manufacturers capable of precision machining and fabrication.

Manage the timeline for low-volume, high-mix custom parts to ensure production continuity.

Electronic & Structural Components

PCBA & Electronics: Manage the sourcing and supply chain for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and loose electronic components. Handle BOM costing and lead time management.

Sheet Metal & Structure: Procure sheet metal structural parts, chassis, and metal enclosures based on engineering specifications.

Plant Engineering & MRO (Services)

Manage MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procurement specifically for plant facilities.

Oversee sourcing and contracting for Factory Engineering Services, including:

M&E: Mechanical & Electrical installation and maintenance.

Civil Works: Plant renovation, flooring, and basic construction/civil engineering projects.

Supplier Management & Cost Optimization

Develop a reliable supplier base for both direct materials (electronics/mechanical) and indirect services (contractors).

Perform price negotiation, cost analysis, and contract management.

Monitor supplier performance (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and conduct periodic audits.
