Summary

Be responsible for plant level cost and control including the cost accounting, general accounting, bill of material audit, inventory reconciliation, cost analysis, overhead computation.

As our COST ACCOUNTANT, you’ll support HID’s success by:


Responsible for handling product costing, which interdependently collaborates with Supply Chain and Engineering to develop standard cost model
Performing periodic review and analysis on production and price variance to ensure effective cost control
Analyze root cause arisen from purchase price and work order variances
Responsible for quarterly and yearly cost revision exercise
Prepare journal entries and ensure timely deliverables of accurate month end and year end closing
Responsible for monthly inventory reconciliation and ensure timely management reporting
Review and make provision for slow moving and obsolete inventory
Responsible for resources and overhead computation
Review on cost absorption
Coordinate regular periodic inventory counting and ensure proper inventory management
Oversee daily operation issues, evaluate and review financial reports against inventory related, and take appropriate control and corrective action
Review cost absorption and analyze root cause
Assist in implementing and monitoring internal control
Other ad hoc tasks may be assigned from time to time
Your Experience and Background include:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


Degree in accounting, finalist in CIMA/ACCA
Minimum 3 years of working experience in standard costing in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Oracle or ERP system
Proficiency in MS Office applications, sound in Excel
Ability to communicate effectively in English language verbally and in writing
Meticulous, good analytical skill, problem solving skill
Work independently and ability to achieve target within given timeline
Immediate available is preferable
Work Environment:

Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
Work Requirements:


Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
